Character Name: Colette Brunel
Series: Tales of Symphonia
Canon Point: Post Zelos-path ToS, pre-ToS:DotNW
Summary/History: I can actually use a wiki link amazing, only thing is wiki assumes she travels with Lloyd, but Zelos does instead in hers.
Personality: Colette is a bit hard to describe easily because the person that she shows to others and the person that she is aren’t always the same. She’s very smart, but sometimes she replies in ways that don’t show that because that’s a “better answer”. For example, if you do the side quest where Yuan is trying to find his engagement ring, she says he’s looking for a four-leafed clover because she can tell he’s looking for something that will make him happy, and that’s the more “interesting” answer. She knew it wasn’t right, but it worked for what Yuan was doing.
Colette is extremely loyal to her friends, especially Lloyd since he was one of the first people outside her family to treat her as a person instead of as the Chosen. She genuinely wants to help everyone, which is why she left to go to the tower with just Kratos instead of waiting and showing Lloyd, Genis, and Sheena the truth of what the Journey meant.
She was completely willing to give up being her own person and let Martel use her body as a vessel if it would save Sylvarant. Then she met Sheena and learned about the existence of the other half of their world and decided that she would try talking to the angels and see if it was possible to save both worlds instead of just her own. Now she knows that every life is worth living and having and doesn’t want anyone else to ever have to think what she did, that the only way for them to save others is to die themselves.
She’s kind and cheerful, and smiles even when she isn’t feeling happy. She is a girl who was told she was going to die to save her world and said that was okay, since she was saving everyone. Now she is a girl who says that she'll find a way with her friends to save everyone without people having to die.
She likes making friends, considering people her friends far sooner than they do in some cases. Sheena tried to assassinate her, and Colette is glad that she is okay when she shows up again.
Colette also loves dogs, naming every nameless dog in the game if you talk to them as her.
Powers/Abilities: Colette is a Cruxian Angel! So she has wings, may not need to sleep or eat anymore, has super-strength, really good hearing, and a reduced sense of touch.
And then there are artes, which I’m just going to link again.
Items on your character: Apart from her clothes, she has a set of chakrams and a couple of dog treats.
